California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. That’s a lot of territory to cover in a week, and I admit to being a bit road weary. However, I have not yet arrived, so I will continue to travel. Where is the final destination? I’m not sure. When will I get there? I don’t know.
Last Tuesday I talked with a trucker who retired after driving four million miles. Amazingly, he still talked about travel plans, although now he will be journeying with his sweet bride. The right companion can make travel a joy.
If you are a person who says, “I’d like to see Hawaii, but I don’t want to fly there,” then you will probably never see it. Destinations are great, but travel is part of the adventure. What is your dream destination? College? Career? Financial security? Relationship? Heaven? All of these will take a journey. Get ready to experience the thrill of the ride!
You are so right. Sometimes the journey is the best part.
It was so good to meet you and your wife in Sunday at Faith Alive. Thank you for blessing us with your wise words.
Thanks, Linda. We really enjoyed our time with you!
You’re always welcome in Kansas City in your travels!
Thanks. We would love to visit. You are always welcome in Florida or Oklahoma.
